Membership provides us with essential ongoing financial support, allowing us to host events, publish original Torah, and organize our communities. 

Membership also allows us to be accountable to the broader Halachic Left community, rather than relying on large donors.

Finally, being a member of Halachic Left helps us make a statement that there is a community of traditionally observant Jews who care deeply about and demand equality for Jews and Palestinians.

You can pay dues monthly or yearly according to your preference, for as little as $5 per month or $18 per year — though we encourage you to give an amount that feels meaningful to you.

  • Halachic Left’s mission is to organize within traditionally observant Jewish communities. We define traditional observance as those who abstain from melakhot for twenty-five hours from Friday sundown through Saturday nightfall. Practically this looks like: no cooking, writing, traveling, electronics, etc. We welcome those who do not identify as traditionally observant Jews to support Halachic Left as allies.
